After Kayerispor drew 1-1 with Altay yesterday, many hoped that Galatasaray would b able to take full point today and reach the top of the Turkish Cup table. (AP:ANKARA, Turkey) Pirates hijacked a Turkish ship with 20 crew off the coast of Somalia but at least six other ships have fended off pirate attacks in the last two days, officials said Thursday.

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - Turkey's state-run news agency says a Turkish freighter ship has been hijacked by pirates off the Somali coast. The Anatolia news agency says the ship, Neslihan with 20 crew members on board, was hijacked in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday.
