The recent statement by the British Prime Minister Mr. Brown exemplifies the Western position on Afghanistan. UKs Exit strategy: Talks & reconciliation with Taliban . The British and the Canadians want to leave the Hindu Kush in 2011. General McChrystal wants 20,000 more Troops to Fight Taliban. The jittery Americans are scrambling for some sort of peace deal with the “ Moderate Taliban “. The Bharatis (aka Indians) are in a panic mode. Iran has learned its lesson and is treading softly.
